AARC Resources
Dear Colleagues: For many years the American Association for Respiratory Care, working with the International Council for Respiratory Care, has encouraged education for health care professionals around the world who provide respiratory therapy. Over time we’ve been pleased to see translations of educational materials developed by the AARC. While English is commonly taught and practiced throughout the world, we feel that having educational materials developed by AARC translated to a variety of languages will make it easier for our colleagues around the world to utilize these resources. Recently, the Taiwan Society for Respiratory Therapy requested permission to translate AARC’s “Guide to Aerosol Delivery Devices” from English to Chinese. Thanks to the hard work of the leadership of the Taiwan Society for Respiratory Therapy that project is now completed and is available on this website. I want to provide a special acknowledgement of gratitude to Mr. Chia Chen Chu, RRT who was the guiding force behind this project. In the future, we hope to have translated other resource materials deemed of interest and benefit to the world community of respiratory therapy providers. The AARC appreciates its continued collaboration with the Taiwan Society for Respiratory Therapy and the many others represented on the International Council for Respiratory Care. Sincerely,
