The American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) is the professional association for respiratory therapists in the United States. The AARC also has a growing membership outside of the US. Here is information about joining the AARC if you are a professional working in respiratory care outside of the US.

How to Join
Are you interested in finding out more about membership in the AARC? Visit www.aarc.org/member_services/ to learn more about the benefits and services we offer. If you live or are currently working in the United States and are ready to become a member, you can join online at secure.aarc.org/membership/aarc_dues_system.asp. If you live and work outside of the US, there are some exciting choices available to you.

NEW! AARC International Web-Based Membership: Have complete member access to the website, including current and past issues of both AARC Times and Respiratory Care Journal. This is an excellent alternative for our members outside of the US who would prefer not to receive the magazines by mail. Cost: $80.00 US.

AARC Standard International Membership: What are your options? If you are outside of the US and would like to become a member of the AARC, you have a few choices:

  • AARC Regular Membership: Receive AARC Times and Respiratory Care Journal by mail, full access to the website and all available personal and professional benefits. Cost: $117.50 (includes one-time processing fee of $12.50)
  • AARC Choice Membership: Elect to receive either AARC Times or Respiratory Care Journal by mail, full access to the website and all available personal and professional benefits. Cost: $106.00 (includes a one-time processing fee of $12.50)
  • AARC Plus Membership: Receive all the benefits of a Regular membership plus advance notice on special sales, a free RC Week T-shirt and an invitation to attend the President’s reception at the AARC International Respiratory Congress. Cost: $177.50 (includes a one-time processing fee of $12.50)
